Nicky Sha' & Miss Black Nevada 2012 hung out with Power 88.1 - Morning Mayhem in Las Vegas
On this past wednesday two of our favorite positive ladies, Nicky Sha' & Miss Black Nevada 2012 - Dr. Danielle Pierre stopped by the Power 88.1 Morning Mayhem Show. Miss Black Nevada discussed her "Be The Cure" campaigne, organizing her time and being a role model. Here are a few photos after the show.

Over a week ago, I came across a link that lead me to a *Talented Songwriter & Vocalist* by the name of S.W.A.T.. We aired his song "Slow Motion" on our July, 6th episode and you guys loved it! So, we decided to give you a little more insight as to who S.W.A.T is. I had the pleasure of chatting with this very modest and laid back old soul. Based on his soft spoken responses, I realized that he really writes his songs from the heart. - Nicky Sha'
About S.W.A.T>
This multi talented artist, has been pursuing music for eight years. Watching his single mother struggle to raise 9 kids on the South Side of Chicago, bothered him deeply. This gave him the drive and motivation, to help make his families life better. In keeping his motivation, he listened to Sam Cooke, R.Kelly and Tank...just a few of the many soulful artists that inspired him. When asked how would he described his music, he stated "It's like, R&B with a touch of Soul". He bases and relates many of his songs to everyday living. S.W.A.T. is definitely on his way to bigger and better things.

On Thursday - June 28th, Tyler Perry took to Facebook to share with his fans "All the crap that goes on behind the scenes" (say's Perry) in his life, leading up to the release of his new movie MADEA'S WITNESS PROTECTION. He expressed the concern that had taken place during and after the making of his film. In this letter, Perry also mentioned his appreciation for his fans and stressed that he needed their support - "The first weekend is so important. That’s how you’re judged in Hollywood. And that is how you can help me fight, by showing up at the movie theater this weekend" - TP. That following Monday - July 2nd, after discovering that almost 3 million people went to see this hilarious comedy over the weekend; a humbled Perry, shared his gratitude in another heart felt letter (also via Facebook) . I’m trying to find the words to say thank you. Almost 3 million of you went to see MADEA’S WITNESS PROTECTION this weekend. WOW! I THANK GOD FOR YOU!! It’s going to take me a second to get the right words together to share. But just know that I so appreciate it, along with everybody here at Tyler Perry Studios.
If you didn’t see MADEA’S WITNESS PROTECTION, it's in theaters now, although it’s in far fewer theaters than any of the movies that opened this weekend (which is one of my fights). I hope that doesn’t stop you from going to see it. You may have to drive a little bit, but you’ll laugh a whole lot.
I told you it was hilarious. Tell all your friends and Facebook folks and tweeters to go see it. Ok? Don’t leave all that laughter to yourself :)

The NSPCA Discover Eccoci Fundraising Event at Town Square in Las Vegas
The360Refuge: The NSPCA Discover Eccoci Fundraising Event at Town Square.: This past Thursday Grace Jackson, the manager of Eccoci at Town Square in Las Vegas, held a fundraiser to benefit the NSPCA - No Kill Animal Shelter. Guest's like BanField Pet Hospital, Mrs. Nevada International 2012, Laurence "LJ" Harness of Cadillac of Las Vegas, Miss Black Nevada 2012, Puperazzi Pawtraits and our very own Nicky Sha' just to name a few, attended the event for this great cause.
